As we know that in Bali, Bali Aga still exist and not just in Tenganan and Trunyan but still a lot of another village. Now I will write about Tihingan village and Kamasan Village in Klungkung regency. Tihingan village very popular with their gamelan production, traditional Balinese musical instrument that made from copper or bronze.Tihingan village used to call ” Gamelan Makers”. Many visitors from domestic and International visit Tihingan village to see how they make gamelan, or for Balinese they ordered gamelan for ceremony. If you interested you can learn gamelan in here as well.  Beside Gamelan, Tihingan villager also produce “Semara pegulingan”, “Gender Wayang” (puppet) music instrument for Balinese puppet show, and the last is “Angklung” not only found in Java, but in Bali, angklung is for human life cycle ceremonies. Gamelan from Tihingan village already well known around Indonesia and overseas. If you interested to visit Tihingan Village, it is located in 3 km west Semarapura from sub-district Banjarangkan Klungkung.

Kamasan Village is located in south Semarapura , approximately 3 km. We still can found variety of cultural Balinese activities in here, such as puppet paintings and Kamasan village known well as “pis kepeng”  production, in all over Indonesia and overseas. For puppet paintings usually about Ramayana and Mahabrata epic story, and you can found in Museum Kertha Gosa Klungkung. Before Mount Agung erruption, Kamasan villager works as farmers and now they change their profession as puppet painting and gold or silver smith. Another creation from Kamasan village is egg painting, it was first developed in here and followed by the other, Kamasan village also is the the center of Balinese language study.
