Donation - for Yayasan Senyum Bali

The Commonwealth Bank Tournament of Champions 2010 held in Nusa Dua, Bali is not only a prestigious event to showcase world class tennis, but also contributes to the social and economy of the local community. During the Players Farewell Party held at the Grand Hyatt Bali an auction of various tennis outfits and ceramics was held and all proceeds collected during the event would be contributed to Yayasan Senyum to help cure craniofacial disabilities.
“I want to thank all the hard work and dedication from Annie Livesey and Regina Viviene during the entire event. Also to David Schumaker and Donna Kelso from Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, sponsors and our title sponsor Commonwealth Bank,” says tournament director Kevin Livesey. Attending the party was Walla family from Wismilak, Commonwealth Bank VIP Customers and sponsors, as well as all players and media.
The items that were auctioned were: BMW Car Replica bought by Stephen Walla at US$ 1,500 and Ana Ivanovic’s outfit also bought by Stephen Wala at US$ 2,500, T-shirt donated by Andy Murray bought by Tan Tze Wen at US$ 600, T-shirt donated by Novak Djokovic bought by Andrew Law at US$ 550, signed Book “Come to Win” from Venus Williams bought by David Schumaker from WTA Tour at US$ 500, ceramic vase donated by Jenggala Keramik signed by Kimiko Date-Krumm bought by Husado Martjiono at US$ 1,500 and plate from Jenggala Keramik signed by all players bought by Commonwealth Bank president director at US$ 8,500.
All proceeds will be donated to Yayasan Senyum Bali (Smile Foundation), a social health non profit organization. This foundation provides medical assistance and surgery for people with craniofacial disabilities.  This foundation works closely with the medical sectors in Bali and was established in 2005 by Mary Northmore as the first chairman.
